Review LG Optimus black P970

LG Optimus Black P970 phone specifications
At the CES 2011, alongside numerous gadgets and smartphones,LGpresented it's latest project: Optimus Black, an Android-based smart phone, bringing some impressive specs to the table. The phone is by far one of the coolest ever made by LG, impressing the audience with bright display, which is nicknamed 'Nova' and by measuring just over 9mm thick, being one of the thinnest phones out there. Thanks to it's great display and good-looks, you'll love watching movies, checking out pictures or even doing something common like reading a simple text message.
The phone definitely makes a strong visual effect and although it weighs only 109g, it offers smooth edges and sleek lines which really come in handy from the handheld grip point of view.
Despite the currently undisclosed price, the phone is set to come out in the first half of 2011, and already there are plenty of people eager to brag with it.
Two cameras are incorporated in the LG Optimus Black, a 2-megapixel one on the front as well as a 5-megapixel camera on the back, which although isn't capable of taking incredibly good shots, it doesn't let you down. The pictures come out in a very fulfilling manner, because of the really bright display, which helps a lot if you're trying to check out your phone in the glare of direct sunlight. The contrast ratio is quite decent and colours look vivid.
On the downside, the Optimus Black doesn't use the latestAndroidversion (which is the 2.3 Gingerbread),but the previous 2.2 (Froyo) .Still this version provides Flash support, also making a few tweaks in the attempt to give it a special LG flavour.According to LG, the Black will be updated with the 2.3 version, as well as other useful improvements so it's one good news after another for the thinnest phone in the world.
